What is a “Riparian Buffer” and Why is it Important?A riparian buffer is the area of land directly adjacent to a waterway (lake, stream, river, wetlands).  In contrast to common use along the Bay, this buffer consists of three parts:  Outer, Middle and Lakeside.  Properly functioning buffers sequester a lot of carbon and reduce the force of high winds. Read More 2020 TNN Winter News
