SAND PAINTINGS IN THE SNOW. Sand painting is an ancient art form. For Navaho, "places where the gods come and go". A New Zealander grew his art to acres of snow. January - nature sculpted sand paintings alongshore the Bay. These may not rival crafted artistry but are art. Sand blew-in to hide in evergreens or fences which stop drift sand near the timber line. Without cover, drift sand met the road. Let’s fill the gaps with greenery and fencing.
