Great Lakes water came down 17 inches while SE Michigan was flooded by 100-year storms and neglected infrastructure - including our home. A 4½ feet flood resulted in utter destruction. Wet furniture, equipment, drywall, and lifetime memories were removed. Dryers removed the damp 5 times until the root cause was solved – a blocked municipal storm drain. Restoration services were swamped-work was done by family, friends, and trusted contractors.
