Excerpt – “Five Things to Know About Water Levels on Lake Michigan-Huron”.  USACE predicts the Great Lakes’ seasonal decline will continue through winter.  Net Basin Supply (NBS) accounts for water going into a lake as precipitation and runoff minus water leaving by evaporation. At year-end 2020, Lake Michigan-Huron declined even with above average supply.
