Waterfront HOA’s sent recorded covenants to landowners which run with the land. It is incumbent on buyer discovery through title search and inquiry to local HOA Board. Docks/Hoists are accessory structures in zoning law.  Milton/Torch Lake Townships require 10' side setback for Bay docks stored above OHWM.
